Our approach: we keep data protection practical, proportionate and focused on the risks that matter in care governance: access, confidentiality, availability and clear accountability.
How Oversight Care safeguards user data
Secure access
Access to customer information is limited to people who need it for support, administration or service delivery. We use role-based access, account controls and careful internal handling to reduce unnecessary exposure.
Protected systems
Oversight Care uses managed cloud services with security controls such as encrypted connections, monitored infrastructure and provider-level protections. We choose suppliers that support reliable hosting, email delivery, payment processing and operational security.
Payment safety
Paid resources are purchased through Stripe. Oversight Care does not store customer card details on the website. Stripe handles payment information through its own secure checkout process.
Data minimisation
We aim to collect only the information needed to provide the website, respond to enquiries, deliver downloads, arrange demos and support customers. We do not sell personal information.
Operational care
We use practical safeguards such as secure supplier access, controlled environment variables, security checks on public forms and separation between public website activity and customer platform data.
Customer responsibility
Care providers remain responsible for the information they choose to upload, enter or share when using any care governance tool. We encourage customers to use strong internal permissions, careful staff access and appropriate local policies.
