Regulatory Information
Important information about the role of Oversight Care, how the website should be used, and where regulatory responsibility remains.
Product role
Oversight Care is a compliance and governance software product for UK care providers. It is designed to help organisations organise records, monitor actions, manage evidence and keep oversight of internal governance workflows.
Care provider responsibility
Care providers remain responsible for meeting the legal, regulatory, contractual and professional obligations that apply to their own services. Using Oversight does not transfer those duties to JayDocs and does not guarantee compliance, inspection readiness, ratings or outcomes.
Regulator status
JayDocs is not a care regulator, inspection body, legal practice, clinical governance body or regulated care provider. Oversight is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the Care Quality Commission, Care Inspectorate, Care Inspectorate Wales, Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority, local authorities, NHS bodies or commissioners unless expressly stated in writing.
Website and product information
Website pages describe typical product functionality and care-sector use cases. They should be read as general product information, not as confirmation that a specific organisation, service type or workflow will meet a particular regulatory requirement.
Professional advice
Care providers should take their own professional advice where needed, including legal, regulatory, clinical, safeguarding, employment, health and safety, information governance or data protection advice. Oversight can support internal management processes, but it does not replace professional judgement.
Data protection
Information collected through this public website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Customer platform data handling is covered separately through customer onboarding, commercial arrangements and supporting documentation.
Reporting concerns
If you are a member of the public, employee, contractor or service user with a concern about a care provider, contact the relevant care provider, safeguarding authority, commissioner or regulator directly. JayDocs cannot investigate or determine regulatory concerns about care services.
