About Oversight
Oversight is compliance and governance software built for UK care providers, including home care, residential care, nursing care, supported living and multi-service organisations. It gives registered managers and senior leaders one clear view of audits, incidents, safeguarding, staff compliance, actions, risks and supporting evidence.
No. Oversight does not replace your care planning, rostering, eMAR, finance or HR systems. It sits alongside them and gives managers a clearer view of compliance activity, outstanding actions, risks and evidence across the service.
Oversight can be configured for domiciliary care, residential care homes, nursing homes, supported living services and organisations operating across several locations or care settings. It can support providers regulated by the CQC, the Care Inspectorate, or both.
Yes. Oversight can be configured around your care setting, services, roles and priority compliance areas. The aim is to reflect how your organisation already manages governance rather than impose a completely new process.
How it works
Oversight can bring together areas such as audits, action plans, incidents, safeguarding, staff compliance, policy reviews, risks, care plan oversight and supporting evidence. The exact areas included will depend on the configuration selected for your service.
Yes. Director oversight can provide a higher-level view across multiple services, helping senior leaders identify overdue actions, emerging risks and areas that may require additional support.
Yes. Oversight is designed to support the audits and checks you already complete. You can retain your existing forms and procedures while using Oversight to monitor schedules, completion, actions and evidence.
Access arrangements depend on the package and number of licensed users or devices agreed for your organisation. We will confirm the most suitable setup during scoping.
Existing systems
No. Oversight is designed to work around the systems and processes you already use. Your existing care records, audit templates, policies and document storage can remain in place while Oversight provides a central view of what is due, completed, overdue or awaiting evidence.
Yes. Oversight can work alongside SharePoint and your existing folder structure. Documents can remain in your organisation's storage while Oversight helps managers track the related audits, actions, reviews and evidence.
Yes. You can continue using your existing care records, policies, audit forms and local procedures. Oversight is intended to organise the governance activity around those records rather than forcing your organisation to rebuild everything in a new format.
Setup and migration
During setup, we agree your services, locations, user roles, compliance areas, audit schedule and evidence structure. Oversight is then configured around the way your organisation already works, followed by onboarding and guidance for the people who will use it.
Setup time depends on the number of services, users and the amount of information being migrated. A clear implementation plan and expected timescale will be agreed before work begins.
Yes. Relevant existing documents and compliance evidence can be incorporated during setup, including completed audits, action plans, policies, training records and supporting evidence. The scope of migration will be agreed with you before implementation begins.
Oversight is designed to be straightforward for managers and senior teams. Onboarding guidance is provided during setup, and additional support can be agreed where required.
Oversight is provided as a secure desktop application configured for your organisation. Installation and access requirements are explained during onboarding.
Inspection and governance
Oversight helps managers identify overdue work, unresolved risks, incomplete actions and missing evidence before they become inspection concerns. It also creates a clearer trail showing what was identified, who was responsible, what action was taken and what evidence supports completion.
Yes. Oversight can be configured for services regulated by the Care Inspectorate in Scotland as well as providers regulated by the CQC in England. Organisations operating across both regulatory environments can maintain separate service-level oversight within one system.
No software can guarantee an inspection outcome. Oversight helps organisations maintain clearer oversight of compliance activity, outstanding actions and supporting evidence so managers can identify gaps and prepare more effectively.
Security and data
Oversight uses controlled user access and role-based permissions so staff only see the information relevant to their responsibilities. Your organisation retains ownership of its information, and data handling arrangements are explained clearly during onboarding.
Your organisation retains ownership of the information and documents it provides. Oversight's responsibilities for accessing, processing and protecting that information are set out in the service agreement and privacy documentation.
No. Access can be controlled according to role and responsibility, helping organisations limit visibility of sensitive information.
Pricing and support
Pricing is based on your care setting, number of services and any additional requirements, such as director-level oversight, clinical modules or migration support. You can use our pricing estimator for an initial indication or book a demo for a tailored quotation.
You can request 24-hour access to a sample Oversight workspace before booking a demo. It uses fictional records, so you can look around freely without entering real service information.
Yes. Additional modules and oversight options can be added as your organisation's requirements develop, subject to the package and configuration available at the time.
The support and update arrangements included with your package will be set out clearly in your quotation and service agreement.
